Cedar is one of the oldest fragrances known in Tibet. It's primarily used as an essential element in meditation, as it represents inner strength and helps you "always find your way."

About Tibetan Rope

Tibetan Rope incense is a traditional incense originating from Tibet and Nepal. Buddhists and Hindus have been using it in their spiritual practices for centuries.

Tibetan Rope is made from thin layers of rice paper cut into narrow strips, onto which powdered incense is placed and then rolled into a "rope". It's an incredibly precise and delicate process carried out by local village women.

Today, the rope incense is regularly used in temples as offerings to deities and during meditation. The incense is intended for purifying both space and self.

Buddhists also believe that incense burning to completion teaches and invites us to burn away our negative qualities until only ash remains. Through this practice, we reveal our true "SELF".

Today, we use Tibetan Rope incense as an element for increasing mindfulness during meditation and as a tool for relaxation. These beautiful fragrances will undoubtedly guide you into a new, better world.

Product Details

  • Hand-crafted Tibetan Ropes from Nepal,
  • Made by local village women,
  • Each roll contains 50 Tibetan Ropes, one rope burns for approximately 15 minutes.

Instructions for Use

Tibetan Rope incense is generally intended for single use. Slowly light the thin end of the incense using a match or over a candle.

Once well lit, place the incense in a fireproof dish and let it burn gently and slowly. The entire process takes approximately 15 minutes, depending on the rope's length.

If you wish to extinguish the rope early, we recommend gently rolling the burning end against the bottom of the dish until it goes out. The Tibetan Rope will then be ready for future use
