How to use a pendulum?

Below you'll find instructions on how to start using the pendulum to receive answers to the deepest questions of your soul.

• Before the first use, energetically cleanse the pendulum. You can simply use incense for this.
• Step away from distractions that could influence the answers. Take a few moments to calm yourself and connect with your inner self, the spiritual world, and in turn with the pendulum.
• Hold the end of the pendulum between your thumb and index finger and keep it suspended in the air. You may gently hold your other hand beneath it, but the pendulum must remain in the air.
• First, ask the pendulum to show you what "YES" and "NO" look like. Ask it: "Show me YES," and "Show me NO." Observe the movement — YES or NO may appear as a forward/backward motion, left/right, or clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation.
• If you like, you can ask the pendulum a few "test" questions to check whether the connection has been established.
• Ask the questions you want answered. Keep them to ones that can be answered with YES/NO.
• When you're done, thank the pendulum for its help, cleanse it again, and store it in a safe place.
