Septarians form from hardened balls of mud.
As a result of geological processes, these balls crack, and mineral-rich fluids begin to seep inside.
Over time, minerals accumulate within the cracks and form beautiful structures. Our specimens contain yellow calcite.
Septarians are tens of millions of years old, and fossils are sometimes discovered within them.
