Tibetan rope incense in cedar scent represents protection and purification.

Cedar bundles were traditionally used to smudge temple doorways to protect against negative energy and harmful influences.

The scent of cedar is also calming, making these ropes perfect for burning in the evening or morning hours.

The incense is handmade from special paper and natural incense powders. Light one rope at a time.

About Tibetan Rope

Tibetan Rope Incense is a traditional incense originating from Tibet and Nepal. It has been used for centuries by Buddhists and Hindus in their spiritual practices.

Tibetan Rope is made from rice paper cut into thin strips, onto which incense powder is placed and then rolled into a "rope." It's an incredibly precise and delicate process carried out by local village women.

Today, the rope incense is regularly used in temples as offerings to deities and during meditation. The incense is meant for purifying both space and self.

Buddhists also believe that incense burning to completion teaches and invites us to burn away our negative traits until only ashes remain. Through this practice, we reveal our true "SELF".

Today, we use Tibetan Rope Incense as an element for deepening presence during meditation and as a tool for relaxation. These beautiful fragrances will undoubtedly guide you into a new, better world.

Instructions for Use

Tibetan Rope Incense is generally intended for single use. Slowly light the thin end of the incense using a match or over a candle.

Once well lit, place the incense in a fireproof dish and allow it to burn gently and slowly. The entire process takes about 15 minutes, depending on the rope's length.

If you wish to extinguish the rope early, we recommend gently rolling the burning end against the bottom of the dish until it goes out. The Tibetan Rope will then be ready for future use
