The Tibetan rope incense in White Sage is a symbol of protection and purification.

White sage clears negative energy from a space. We use it whenever we wish to energetically cleanse a space and prepare it for the arrival of positive energy.

The incense is handmade from a special paper and natural incense powders. One rope is lit at a time.

About Tibetan Rope Incense

Tibetan Rope Incense is a traditional form of incense originating from Tibet and Nepal, where it has been used for centuries by Buddhists and Hindus as part of their spiritual practice.

Tibetan Rope Incense is made from rice paper cut into thin strips, which are then coated with powdered incense and rolled into a "rope." It is an extraordinarily precise and delicate process, carried out by the women of local villages.

Today, rope incense is used regularly in temples as an offering to deities and during meditation. It is intended for the cleansing of spaces and oneself.

Buddhists also believe that incense burning all the way down to ash teaches and invites us to symbolically burn away our own negative traits — leaving only ash behind. Through this practice, we reveal our true "self."

Today, Tibetan Rope Incense is used as an aid for deepening presence during meditation and as an element of relaxation. In the company of these beautiful scents, you will undoubtedly enter a new, better world.

Instructions for Use

Tibetan Rope Incense is, in principle, intended for single use. Light the thin end of the rope slowly using a match or over a candle flame.

Once it has caught well, place the incense in a fireproof bowl and allow it to burn gently and slowly. The entire process takes approximately 15 minutes, depending on the length of the rope.

If you wish to extinguish the rope early, we recommend gently rolling the burning end along the bottom of the bowl until the flame goes out. The Tibetan Rope will then be ready for use again.
