Tourmalinated Quartz is essentially a Quartz crystal that grew together in harmony with Tourmaline. This shared growth is expressed in the black "needles" of Tourmaline woven throughout the entire Quartz crystal.

Tourmaline is a crystalline boron silicate mineral, naturally blended with elements such as aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium.

It is a semi-precious stone that exists in a range of colours in nature.

The black variety is known as Schorl.
